TUI FLAT TAKEOVER COMPETITION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. These terms and conditions relate to the Tui Flat Takeover Promotion (“Promotion”).
  2. The promoter is DB Breweries Ltd, 1 Bairds Road, Otahuhu, Auckland (“Promoter”).
  3. The Promotion commences on Wednesday 10th February 2021 at 01am and closes on Sunday 14th March 2021 at 11.59pm (“Promotional Period”). Entries received outside of the Promotional Period will not be accepted.
 

Conditions of Entry

  1. The Promoter's and its associated companies' employees, agents and contractors and their immediate families (including spouses, grandparents, parents, children or grandchildren) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
  2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or older to enter.
  3. Entrants must be a tenant in a property that is rented from a third party landlord. That landlord may not be related to the tenant.
 

How to enter

  1. To enter, purchase any of the following Tui products from a participating retailer (“Qualifying Purchase”) during the Promotional Period:
  • Tui beer, tap product;
  • Tui beer, can or bottle pack;
  • Tui Hard Soda Raspberry, can pack
  • Tui Hard Soda Orange, can pack
  • Tui Hard Soda Peach, can pack;
  • Tui Vodka Lime and Soda, can pack
  • Tui Vodka Lime and Soda, bottle pack;
  • Tui Bourbon and Cola, can pack.

Upon making a Qualifying Purchase, the customer will receive an entry card with a unique code. Text entry code to 595.

A customer may only enter the promotion once per Qualifying Purchase during the Promotional Period. Entry Code cards are subject to availability at participating retailers.

Prizes

  1. There is one Tui Flat Takeover Prize to be won (“Prize”). The prize includes:
    1. One years’ worth of rent, to a maximum of $600 per week, for 52 weeks;
    2. One years’ worth of KFC; calculated at one $40 KFC voucher per week, for 52 weeks; and

The Prize is valued in excess of $33,000.

The rent will be paid by monthly automatic payment directly to the winner or his/her nominated landlord for 12 months from 1 April 2020.

The KFC Vouchers will be sent directly to the winner. The KFC vouchers are issued by Restaurant Brands New Zealand Limited. Any questions relating to the vouchers should be addressed directly to Restaurant Brands. No change will be given on the KFC vouchers, and they are not redeemable for cash. Please treat the vouchers as you would cash, as they are not able to be replaced if lost or stolen.

Draw and Winner Notification

  1. The Prize winner will be drawn at random at 2pm on 17th March 2020 at Raydar, 318 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn and the winner will be contacted on the email address or phone number used to enter the Promotion.

Prior to being confirmed as the winner, the Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity (and age), proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address (eg: by providing a valid tenancy agreement confirming rental amount), proof of valid NZ bank account and/or proof of entry validity. In the event that such proof is not provided by the winner or the information provided is not suitable to the Promoter, then that winner shall forfeit their rights to any Prize.

  1. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
 

General Terms

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  2. Prizes cannot be varied and are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  3. If the winner is not able to be contacted within 48 hours following the draw, that winner shall forfeit the prize and the Promoter shall draw another winner, and so on until a winner is contacted to accept the Prize.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the Promoter’s opinion includes objectionable content, profanity or potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements.
  5. The Promoter may disqualify any entry or individual (including any prize winner) who tampers with the entry process, submits an entry not in accordance with the terms and conditions, breaches these terms and conditions, or who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct which is unlawful, improper, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter or Promotion.
  6. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or any combination thereof.
  7. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.
  8. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion.
  9. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, misdirected, late or illegible entries or any entries that for whatever reason, are not received by the Promoter or are incomplete.
  10. The winner of any Prize agrees to co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including being interviewed, photographed or filmed. The winner agrees to having their name, image and/or voice appear in connection with the Promotion, the Promoter or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world.
  11. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related companies shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever by or to any person in connection with the Promotion or with winning or benefiting from a prize.
  12. The Promoter needs to collect personal information from entrants in order to conduct the Promotion – without this personal information the Promoter may not be able to provide you with entry into the Promotion. Unless otherwise authorized by you, your personal information will be held by the Promoter for the purposes of the Promotion and may be shared with partners of the Promoter solely for the purposes of the Promotion.
